ONE Hampshire company will be the driving force on the driving range, as they go full throttle to help raise thousands for a children's charity.

Hendy Mazda in Eastleigh has donated more than £1,000 and a new Mazda 2 as a hole in one prize for the Rainbow Centre's 18th birthday golf day.

The centre, in Fareham which cares for youngsters suffering from severe cerebral palsy is hosting the event at Meon Valley Hotel Golf and Country Club on April 22.

Sales manager Frank Thow said: "By sponsoring the golf day we want to help make a considerable difference to the lives of the children and their families that attend the centre."

Julie Woodward, from the centre, added: "We can't thank Hendy Group enough for being the main sponsor and appreciate the money and prize donation for the day."
