Norwich Union Healthcare had an intrepid squad of ladies taking part in this year's Race for Life in Southampton, from across all areas of the business, all at different fitness levels and all with varying ideas of what they wanted to get out of their day.
"I must admit that I was nervous as I haven't completed anything like this since I was at school - a while ago now!" says Katie McNab from Consumer Propositions, Norwich Union Healthcare. "But I thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. The support you get from everyone watching and cheering you on, as well as the other runners, is just fantastic. I'll certainly be doing it again next year."
As well as the individual sponsorship money the ladies have raised, Norwich Union Healthcare will also be donating £2000 to Cancer Research UK on behalf of all its runners.
