A JURY will tomorrow begin hearing evidence in the trial of two men accused of murdering a Hampshire man and setting fire to his body in his car.

The case against Arben Lleshi, 25, and Afrim Lleshi, 36, who are alleged to have killed 29-year-old Agim Hoxha will officially be opened by the Crown Prosecution Service once a panel of 12 men and women has been selected.

The hearing was due to get underway today at Winchester Crown Court but has been delayed until tomorrow to allow potential jurors to check their availability for the case which is set to last six weeks as opposed to the normal two weeks service.

The prosecution will be led by Nicholas Haggan QC who will spend the next two days opening the case against the Albanian pair, who both deny murder and a second charge of perverting the course of justice.

Firefighters made the discovery of his body on the morning of April 10 last year after being called to a remote Chilworth road following a report of a car on fire.

They are alleged to have removed Mr Agim's body from a flat in Shirley Road, Southampton, and taken him to Chilworth Drive where they set fire to his silver Mercedes.
