HE was a city businessman who enjoyed a lavish lifestyle.
As the boss of Lucid, once a well-known shop in The Bargate Centre, Lloyd Phillips was also a familiar face known for being flash with his cash as weekly takings averaged around £10,000 a week.
Records show he was listed as director, via a premises in Bedford Place, of Lucid Retail Limited and Lucid Southampton Limited.

Married to Alison Phillips, who was listed as a director in of Lucid Clothes Limited and Lucid Sales Limited, he was a regular on the social scene and in bars and clubs in the city centre.
It was there that items were stored and goods, ordered through a host of websites linked to the firm, were posted out from.
As well as a nice home in the heart of the city the couple also own a luxury Sunseeker yacht.
Southampton Crown Court heard that the shop appealed to those who lived an alternative lifestyle and most of his money was made from legitimate business.
Phillips is said to no longer be a part of Lucid and it has moved to new premises in East Street, Southampton, where it is under new management.
