POLICE are hunting thieves behind a series of motorcycle thefts.

They believe the four thefts in the Whiteley area, including three in the last week, are linked and are warning residents to be vigilant.

Thieves took a Honda CBR 100 from Talbot Road, Whiteley between 9am and 11am on Monday.

Then a Honda CBR motorcycle was stolen at Raymarine, in Cartwright Drive, on Tuesday between 12.50 and 1.10pm.

On this occasion two men were seen loading the bike into the rear of a white box van.

And thieves stole an orange Kawasaki 600 from outside an address in Arabian Gardens, Whiteley, sometime between 2.30 and 6am on Wednesday.

This follows an incident where a Honda CBR 600 was stolen from a multi storey car park opposite Specsavers, in the Solent Business Park, on, January 20 between 8.30am and 6pm.

Police are appealing for residents to call them if they see the van or notice any other suspicious activity or people.
