TWO men barged their way into a home terrifying the people inside.
Detectives appealed for witnesses following the aggravated burglary on Battery Hill, Stanmore.
Two men knocked on the door and forced their way in when it was answered.
One of the men was masked and demanded money but they left after being challenged by the occupant.
Nothing was stolen from the address and no one was injured in the incident between 10.50pm and 11.05pm on Tuesday, January 28.
The first suspect is 6ft 4 to 6ft 6 tall and wearing a balaclava covering his face and dark coloured clothing.
The second is described as 5ft 3 to 5ft 5 tall, with medium length dark scruffy hair, tanned complexion and wearing a dark jacket.
Det Con Richard Jones said: “Fortunately incidents like this are extremely rare and nobody was injured but this was a very frightening experience for the residents.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Det Con Jones at North Walls Police Station in Winchester by phoning 101.
