Brother denies murdering his twin
A HAMPSHIRE plasterer today denied murdering his twin brother on New Year's Eve.
Robert Cerqua, 31, is alleged to have killed Chris, a carpenter, at their home in Langdown Road, Hythe.
During the ten-minute hearing at Winchester Crown Court, Cerqua spoke only to confirm his name and to deny the allegation.
Judge Keith Cutler, Recorder of Winchester, remanded him into custody with a trial date set for October 6.
A directions and case management hearing is due on April 17.
