Two men who sparked a manhunt after they escaped from a secure mental unit have been found.
Police issued an alert over fears that Neil Emery, 46, and Jason Bratton, 36, were heading for Hampshire.
Officers has appealed for public help after the had absconded from the unit at Surrey and Borders NHS Foundation Trust in Dorking Road Epsom on Wednesday morning.
Emery was found following a call from a member of the public, who had seen the appeal on social media, in the Dorking area at 10.23am today and was returned to the facility.
Bratton was located today in Aldershot at 12.43pm following intelligence led enquiries carried out by Surrey and Hampshire officers.
Detective Inspector Peter Harvey, who led the investigation said: "We would like to thank the public for their help in this search, without which we would not have been able to locate the two men as quickly."
