POLICE have launched a search for two men after a Hampshire tyre shop was burgled.

At around 10.35am on Saturday (July 26) a man walked into the workshops of Abbey Tyres, at Claylands Road, Bishop's Waltham, asking to buy four tyres.

Another man was seen hanging around the front entrance before the first man got his quote and left via the back exit.

A member of staff then heard a noise from the office and saw the second man leaving with two cash tins.

The man shoved the member of staff and left with the tins - one black, one blue - towards Blanchard Road and Langton Road.

The tins contained a total of £70 cash and a cheque.

The first man is described as white, with a slight tan, in his mid-to-late 20s, of a slim to medium build and about 6ft tall. He has dark hair, which may be receding and was wearing a t-shirt, white shorts and trainers.

The second man is also white, of a similar age, around 5ft 6-7ins and of a small to medium build. He had ginger short hair and was wearing a patterned summer shirt and shorts.
