SEVEN men have been detained on suspicion of entering the country illegally after being found in the back of a lorry in Hampshire.

They were discovered when the driver of a lorry, which was delivering timber to the sawmill in Holmsley, heard voices in the back of his vehicle.

He alerted staff at the sawmill and the police arrived to find the seven men hiding in the back.

They have been detained on suspicion of immigration offences and the incident has been passed onto the UK Border Agency.
