A MAN accused of murdering mum-of-five Pennie Davis has appeared in court for the first time.

Pennie was stabbed 13 times in a paddock at Leygreen Farm near Beaulieu on Tuesday, September 2, where she was later found dead by her husband.

He was remanded in custody and will next appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday.

On Friday, a 28-year-old woman from Hythe who was arrested yesterday morning on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder has been released on bail until Monday, November 3, pending further enquiries.
