The controversial climber who has illegally been scaling structures across Southampton and beyond has been at it again.

The latest picture shows James Kingston on top of a crane towering above the city's Arts Complex, which is under construction on the site of Tyrrell & Green, next to East Park.

The 24-year-old has been warned by police for his stunts, but continues to publish photos of his activities online.

The picture comes just days after the Romsey-native posted a picture of himself scaling a crane next to the newly-opened Mayflower Halls, next to the Mayflower Theatre.

Last month, Mr Kingston came back to Hampshire after getting arrested for climbing the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

He said then that he preferred staying away from Southampton due to his 'notoriety' after climbing a crane in Ocean Village and the gas tanks in Northam.

Despite that claim, he has since released two images of him scaling structures in the city.

His antics have led to safety warnings from police and construction firms, fearful that people will try to copy him.

After scaling the crane in Ocean Village a police spokesman said of the stunt: “James has put himself at considerable risk again and continues to do so. He could have easily died if he'd fallen.

"While it is unlikely he will take any notice of our warnings it is our concern that stunts like this can encourage others and they may not be so lucky.

“People should not see these photos as inspiration to follow in James' footsteps. We would advise anyone to think long and hard before doing anything like this.”
