A TEENAGER has been arrested in connection with an assault outside a bar.
The 18-year-old man, from Sandown, Isle of Wight, was quizzed by officers over the fight outside Coburgs’ bar in Union Street, Ryde.
A 21-year-old man was attacked by two men in the early hours of Sunday, September 21, and sustained a serious but not life-threatening head injury.
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses and have thanked the public for their response so far.
A second suspect is described as white, aged in his late teens or early 20s, between 5ft 11ins to 6ft tall, of slim build and with dark short hair shaved close to the back and sides.
He was wearing a long-sleeved light grey/blue top with light blue jeans and white trainers.
The 18-year-old has been bailed until October 10.
