THE jury in the trial of a man accused of murdering his twin brother have been sent home.

The 12-strong jury in the murder trial of Robert Cerqua was sent home for the night by Rt Hon Justice Teare after a day of deliberations.

Robert, 31, is accused of fatally stabbing his brother Christopher during an altercation at their family home in Langdown Road, Hythe, last New Year's Eve.

The jury will resume deliberating from 10am tomorrow.
