THE jury in the murder trial of a man accused of stabbing his identical town has spent the morning deliberating for a third day.

The jury went out to consider their verdict in the trial of Robert Cerqua on Wednesday.

They informed the judge they unable to reach a unanimous decision on Thursday, and Rt Hon Justice Teare gave he a majority direction.

But the jury has yet to reach a verdict.

Robert Cerqua, 32, of Langdown Road, Hythe, denies murdering brother Christopher with a single stab wound after a row broke out between them on New Year's Eve last year.
