THE South East's “most wanted” burglary list has been revealed and two are linked to break-ins in Hampshire.

Two of the men featured on the new list, released by detectives from the Thames Valley, Sussex, Surrey and Kent forces, are wanted in connection with crimes in the county.

Convicted burglar Simon Bercowitz, 64, who was sentenced to five-and-a-half-years in prison for a series of burglaries in Hampshire, is wanted for recall to prison for breaching the terms of his licence after he was released part way through his sentence.

While Simon Knights, 38, is wanted for questioning about three burglaries in Hampshire, as well as others in Sussex, Kent and Essex.

It is the first time the forces have combined for an anti-burglary campaign.

Detective Chief Inspector Ian Williams said: “We urgently need the public's help to track down and arrest each of these men.
