A WATERSIDE man shocked a woman working for a charity and a teenage girl with a bizarre request via a social network site- “Can I have a picture of your feet?”

The charity worker, who was said to be of “mature years,” pretended she was just 15 to try to find out his motive and sent him a photo.

The real teenager refused but in both cases, Christopher House then sent them crude pictures of himself and the police were informed, Southampton Crown Court heard.

House, 29, of Wilverley Place, Blackfield, admitted sending an offensive communication and attempting to engage in sexual activity with under-age girls.

House was given a two-year community order. He was also placed on the sex offenders register and made the subject of a sex offenders prevention order, both for five years.

Roderick Blain, defending, said House had difficulty in understanding how people formed relationships.
