POLICE seized hundreds of indecent photographs at the home of a Hampshire teacher, jurors heard.
Officers raided the home of Eliot Easterby, a former teacher at Sholing Technology College, and confiscated DVDS and pictures, Southampton Crown Court was told.
Judge Peter Henry heard it was about 6.45am on January 22 last year when police called at his address in Hamble, carrying out a detailed search that lasted four and a half hours.
Prosecutor Eleanor Fargin alleged they discovered ten DVDs and searched his computer, a hard drive and three memory sticks on which they found 669 indecent images.
The DVDS were discovered on the top drawer of a bedroom and photos were also located in a holdall in the bedroom.
Almost 300 pictures had been viewed on the computer but deleted.
Another 375 images had also been downloaded and had been stored on the hard drive or on memory sticks.
He was arrested and taken to the police station where in a three hour interview answered all the questions asked of him.
Easterby, 44, of Barton Drive, Hamble, denies four charges of possessing indecent photographs and ten of making them.

He accepts having and making them but the issue facing the jury is whether they consider the material is indecent.
The prosecution spent about half an hour showing extracts from the DVDs and pictures of boys posing.

The DVDs included titles called Water Wiggles, More Water Wiggles and Even More Water Wiggles showing boys in paddling pools.
The court heard Easterby had no previous convictions and had not received a police caution or a warning.
