POLICE have charged two people and arrested three more after fresh drugs raids in Southampton.

Officers executed two warrants at addresses in Cranbury Avenue and The Compass yesterday morning.

They charged Adam Abdallah, 40, of Cranbury Avenue with two counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A while Carly Louise Hamilton, 27, of Millbrook Road West has been charged with possession of a controlled drug of Class B.

Abdallah appeared at Southampton Magistrates Court this morning and was remanded in custody until a preliminary trial begins on June 1.

Hamilton will appear at the magistrates court on May 21.

Two men, aged 22 and 24 from Southampton were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B.

A 23-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A, possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B and possession of a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid/gas/electrical incapacitation device.

All three have been released on bail until August 3.

Acting Sergeant Russ Smith, said: “We encourage anyone who has information or concerns in relation to drug misuse to continue to report these concerns to their local Neighbourhood Policing Team.”
