A SOUTHAMPTON man made a brief appearance at the city crown court in connection with two raids on betting shops in the city.
Damien Jackson, 29, pleaded guilty to two attempted robberies at Ladbrokes shops in Shirley High Street.
Both were said to have happened on April 18.
Sentence was adjourned until June 1 after Judge Peter Ralls QC heard he might face other similar charges.
Jackson, of Wimpson Lane, was further remanded in custody.
