A PEDESTRIAN was left with a broken leg following a car crash.

A red Ford Ka was in collision with a 26-year-old pedestrian who was in the road on Peveralls Wood Avenue in Chandler's Ford.

The vehicle, which was being driven by a woman, was heading towards the junction of Apollo Road.

The victim suffered a fractured bone in his leg.

Detective Constsable Mark Bradley, said: “Were you in the area at the time of this incident, did you see the Red Ka hit the pedestrian? Or did you see the pedestrian prior to the incident? I would urge anyone with information to get in touch with us as soon as possible.”

The incident happened between 7.35pm and 7.45pm on Friday, May 22 but Hampshire police have only now released the information.
