POLICE have charged 15 more people with burglary offences after a major crackdown in Southampton.

The men were charged with a total of 53 offences as part of Operation Cordon, which saw 21 warrants executed in Southampton in two raids earlier this year.

On Monday and Tuesday, August 10th and 11th, 15 men, from Southampton, were charged with 53 offences.

Those charged are:

  • Curtis Hodder, 23 of Kendal Avenue has been charged with conspiracy to steal.
  • Ryan Hodder, 21 of Kendal Avenue has been charged with conspiracy to steal.
  • Ryan Meadows, 18 of Orwell Close has been charged with conspiracy to steal.
  • Martin Meadows, 23 of Orwell Close has been charged with conspiracy to steal.
  • Thomas Wellman, 18 of Mardale Road has been charged with conspiracy to steal.
  • Jonathon Stamp, 27 Kensington Hall Gardens, London has been charged with conspiracy to steal.
  • Joseph Baldacchino, 18 of Saturn Close has been charged with two counts of theft of motor vehicle and assisting in the disposal of stolen goods.
  • A 17-year-old boy from Southampton has been charged with two counts of theft of motor vehicle and assisting in the disposal of stolen goods.
  • A 17-year-old boy from Southampton has been charged with two counts of burglary.
  • Matthew Whitock, 18 of Outer Circle has been charged with two counts of theft of motor vehicle and assisting in the disposal of stolen goods.
  • A 17-year-old boy from Southampton has been charged with two counts of burglary and assisting in the disposal of stolen goods.
  • Oliver Taylor, 21 of Birch Road has been charged with six counts of assisting in the disposal of stolen goods and supply of Cannabis.
  • Lee Hale, 18 of Outer Circle has been charged with two counts of burglary.
  • Anthony Agnew, 24 of Alder Road has been charged with six counts of assisting in the disposal of stolen goods.
  • David Clothier, 35 of William Macleod Way has been charged with theft of motor vehicle and two counts of assisting in the disposal of stolen goods.

They are due to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court at various days in September.

It is the latest round of action in Operation Cordon after seven people were charged with theft and burglary offences in June.
