A MOTORBIKE customised in honour of its owner’s late daughter has been stolen in Hampshire.

Police are appealing for information after the black Honda bike was taken from a house in Calmore at about 12.30am on Thursday, October 1.

The bike is of huge sentimental value to the owner as it belonged to her late daughter who died ten years ago.

The words “In loving memory of our Nix. My baby” are written on the bike in purple ink.

Police Constable Matthew Ashworth said: “This is more than just a motorbike to the owner.

“This has sentimental value and cannot be replaced. This theft has left the owner highly distressed and upset.

“She feels like the memory of her daughter has been trampled on and that she is mourning her loss all over again.

“I would urge anyone who knows where this motorcycle might be to come forward so we can reunite it with the owner.”
