A MAN has been caught on video performing what appears to be an indecent act in the street in Southampton - just yards from a school in the city.
The footage was posted to Facebook and has since been seen by thousands of people across the globe.
In the video, a man in a black top and grey tracksuit bottoms walks along the an alleyway before suddenly stopping and a facing a wall.
It is then that he appears to commit the act, before peering around the corner to see if anyone is coming.
He then continues before once again looking to see if anyone can see him, before putting his hand to his mouth and walking off.
The footage was uploaded to Facebook by Paul Nash, who claims it was recorded in the area of Vaudry Close and Church Street in the Shirley area of the city, which is near a primary school.
Hampshire Constabulary have confirmed they are looking into the incident.
"We will be looking in this incident and would ask the person who posted this video to contact Hampshire Constabulary on 101 to report the matter," a spokesperson said.
