POLICE have arrested a man after a raid on a suspected cannabis factory in Hampshire.

Specialist officers and dog units were used to carry out the searches in Gosport as part of an ongoing investigation into the supply of drugs in the town.

One raid was at Rowner Lane and in total 21 cannabis plants were seized from a building in Alliance Close this morning.

DS Howard Broadribb said: “These warrants were carried out after concerns were raised by members of the local community.

“The seizure of cannabis plants from a suspected cannabis factory sends a clear message that the supply of illegal drugs will not be tolerated in Gosport.”
