A MAN duped a 90-year-old pensioner into buying £600 of “designer” watches that were actually of poor quality.
Hampshire police say they believe the elderly man was approached while he was shopping in Bassett Green Road, Southampton.
A man drove him in a dark grey Citroen C4 Picasso to a cash point to withdraw money for the watches, and then drove him home.
The pensioner was not harmed or driven against his will, but police want to speak to the man about the incident and have released a CCTV image of the man they want to speak to.
The incident happened at at about 3.30pm on December 1, but the information and image have only now been released.
Anyone who recognises the man should contact the police on 101, quoting 44150417528.
