A BOY aged just 10 has been arrested after a robbery.

It comes after a 12-year-old boy was robbed by two boys who stole his iPhone.

The incident happened in Angerstein Road in the North End area of Portsmouth on Tuesday.

The 10-year-old boy has since been released on bail pending further enquiries until April 4, and the investigation is ongoing.

According to police, the victim had just got off of a bus in London Road, near Gemini News, when two boys started to talk to him on Tuesday evening, around 7pm.

They all headed towards Angerstein Road; once in the road one of the boys punched the victim in the stomach and the other boy pulled the victim to the ground in a ‘headlock’.

They then made off with the victim's iPhone 4.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who recognises any of the boys from the descriptions given.
