OFFICERS have released an efit image of a man following a series of indecent exposure incidents in Andover.

A total of four incidents of indecency have been reported to the police in Andover between January 8 and February 4.

They are:

  • 5.30pm on Friday, January 8, two 14-year-old girls were followed by a man in Roman Way who went on to make inappropriate comments to them.
  • Between 6.10pm and 6.50pm on Tuesday, February 2, a man indecently exposed himself to a 32-year-old woman walking in Marlborough Street.
  • At around 10.30am on Wednesday, February 3, a man indecently exposed himself to a 46-year-old woman who was waiting at a bus stop in King Arthurs Way.
  • Between 5.50pm and 6.10pm on Thursday, February 4, a man indecently exposed himself to a 16-year-old girl in an underpass by Nene Court.

Officers are linking the incidents due to the descriptions of the men given by the women and girls involved.

An efit image has now been produced to identify this man.

He is described as a white male with tanned skin, aged in his late 20s or 30s, around 6ft tall, of slim build and as having dark facial stubble and dark eyes.

He is described as wearing black or grey tracksuit bottoms, a dark-coloured scarf around his face, and one on occasion, a khaki coloured waist length waterproof coat.

Police Staff Investigator Joshua Brown said: “Extra high visibility patrols are being carried out in the areas affected while we investigate these incidents.

"There is a possibility that this is one offender and we would urge anyone who recognises the man in the efit image to contact us immediately.”
