POLICE have stepped up their search for a man as part of a murder investigation.

Detectives are continuing their appeal to trace the man they urgently need to speak to in connection with the murder of Michael Freshwater.

Michael’s body was found two weeks ago today at an address on Westridge Road at 4.15pm on Friday, April 29.

Officers continue to look for Kevin Suika, 21, believed to have connections in Hampshire, Greater London and the Midlands.

Kevin is described as black, 5 feet 7 inches tall, is of proportionate build with a tattoo on his left arm that reads ‘Work like a slave, eat like a king.’

Detective Superintendent Becky Riggs said: "We are keeping an open mind and following up all investigative opportunities to find out exactly what happened that day."

She warned that anyone found to have been harbouring Suika or helping him avoid arrest could face jail.
