A 21-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a Southampton dad.

Detectives made their 12th arrest in connection with the murder of Michael Freshwater, 49.

The 21-year-old from London is also facing a charge of conspiracy to supply class A controlled drugs, heroin.

Michael’s body was found two weeks ago today at an address in Westridge Road.

Officers are now stepping up their search for Kevin Suika, 21 who is believed to have connections to Hampshire, London and the Midlands.

Kevin is described as black, 5ft7in, of proportionate build with a tattoo on his left arm that reads ‘Work like a slave, eat like a king.’ Detective Superintendent Becky Riggs said: “This man is wanted in connection with the murder of Michael Freshwater and we are continuing to appeal to the public to help us trace him.

“He could be in a number of places as he is known to have links with Southampton, London and the South East. “We have previously appealed directly to Suika and asked him to come forward, and we will do so again. Go to your local police station or contact us on 101.

"We are keeping an open mind and following up all investigative opportunities to find out exactly what happened that day."
