A MAN indecently exposed himself to a teenager.

A 14-year-old girl was walking along Somervell Drive, in Fareham at around 5.30pm when she was approached by a man.

He briefly spoke to her before exposing himself to the young girl on Monday, June 27, causing her to run away.

No contact was made and the girl was not harmed.

Now police have launched an investigation in the hunt for the flasher, and have asked for any witnesses to come forwards.

The teen described the man as white, in his late 30's or early 40's, 5ft 8ins tall and of average build.

He had brown hair, was wearing black clothing and spoke with a local accent.

Detective Constable Julie Way said: “We have not received any similar reports in the area and are speaking to a number of individuals as part of our enquiries.

"I'd urge anyone who was in the area at the time and who saw what happened to contact us by calling 101."
