A CCTV image has been released of a man officers would like to speak to about a burglary at a dental surgery in Southampton.
It took place between 8.40am and 9.15am on New Year’s Day, at the Portland Street Dental Surgery, in Portland Street.
Someone entered the surgery by forcing open a rear door, before searching cupboards and drawers. Cashboxes containing £40 were then stolen.
Police have released a black and white CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to about this burglary.
The man is described as:
• White
• Wearing a jacket with a retro Adidas top underneath
• Wearing a beanie hat and white trainers
• Carrying a bag across the shoulders.
PC Sharath Ranjan, of Southampton CID, said: “We appreciate this black and white still image is not of the greatest quality, but we are keen to speak to anyone who recognises him from the image or description.
“Were you in this area on the morning of New Year’s Day? Remember seeing something suspicious?”
Anyone with information is asked to call PC Ranjan on 101, quoting 44170000816.
Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously.
