POLICE have stepped up their hunt to find an alleged kidnapper who has been on the run for two months.
Rodney Traves, 47, is wanted in connection with a kidnapping in Eastleigh which happened on Friday, January 19.
Officers have been investigating the incident and are asking the public for help in tracking Traves down.
He is described as being white, five feet eight inches tall, of proportionate build, and has brown hair and blue eyes.
He has links to Southampton, Eastleigh and Bournemouth.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokeswoman said: "Have you seen him or do you know where he might be and who he might be with?
"Associates and friends should be aware that if they are found to be assisting Traves to avoid arrest or harbouring him they may be committing an offence and will be liable for arrest.
"Officers would advise the public not to approach him, but to call Hampshire Constabulary on 101 or 999 appropriately and quote 44170024129."
