A DOG walker was sexually assaulted in the early hours of the morning.
The 48-year-old woman was with her two dogs when a man approached her from behind at about 5.45am yesterday.
He was disturbed when two male cyclists rode past the scene at Manners Lane in Southsea.
The victim suffered a minor injury to her face and was taken to the Queen Alexandra Hospital, and police have cordoned off the scene.
Police want to speak to the two cyclists who rode past and a woman who was approached by the victim a short time after the assault.
