The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates Court:

  • Michael Lee Green, 26, whose address was given as of HMP Winchester. Pleaded guilty to racially aggravated assault. Jailed for 26 weeks (concurrent), £115 compensation order.
  • Joshua James Smith, 21, of Northfield Road, Milford on Sea. Pleaded guilty to entering a building as a trespasser with intent to steal. Community order, including requirement to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work within 12 months.
  • Luke Andrew Ward, 31, of Millbrook Road West, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing seven jars of coffee worth £35 from Tesco. Fined £50 with £30 victim services surcharge.
  • Dariusz Bujak, 28, of no fixed address. Pleaded guilty to having a blade in a public place. Community order, including requirement to carry out 40 hours of unpaid work within 12 months. Also told to pay £85 victim services surcharge. Also pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody. Community order. Also admitted possessing a controlled Class B drug. Community order.
  • Paul Howard Bailey, 54, of Twyford Road, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to using a vehicle without insurance. Fined £120, £30 victim services surcharge, £50 costs. Driving record endorsed with six penalty points.
  • Andrew Paul Pearce, 46, of Byron Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assault. Community order, including requirement to complete 60 hours of unpaid work within 12 months. Handed £50 compensation order and told to pay £35 costs plus £85 victim services surcharge.
  • Ashton John Singh, 27, of no fixed address. Pleaded guilty to stealing washing detergent valued at £45 from Sainsbury’s. Fined £50. Also admitted breaching supervision requirements imposed following release from prison. Returned to prison for 14 days.
  • Luke Peter Cooksey, 28, of Belvedere Road, Southampton. Admitted assault. Fined £335, £34 victim services surcharge, £85 costs. Also pleaded guilty to criminal damage. Told to pay £30 compensation.
  • Christopher John Fenna, 31, of Firtree Way, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to criminal damage. Fined £445, £44 victim services surcharge, £85 costs.
  • Billy James Smith, 20, of Exbury Road, Blackfield, New Forest. Pleaded guilty to assault. One-year conditional discharge, £20 victim services surcharge, £85 costs. Also pleaded guilty to criminal damage. One-year conditional discharge.
  • Derrick James Campbell, 38, of Millbrook Road West, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to breaching restraining order. Sentenced to 14 weeks in prison, suspended for 18 months. Also told to pay £115 victim services surcharge.
  • Wayne Trevor Roland Roberts, 43, of Burgess Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to breaching non-molestation order. Sentenced to 18 weeks in prison, suspended for 24 months. Fined £100, £115 victim services surcharge, £85 costs.
  • Dleir Mohamad Amin, 39, of Orchard Lane, Southampton. Found guilty of stalking. Jailed for 18 weeks and told to pay £135 victim services surcharge.
