The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:

  • Dylan Martin, 19, of Goodlands Vale, Hedge End. Pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive behaviour and insulting words towards Ben Plowman. Community order made. Ordered to pay £85 costs and an £85 victim surcharge.
  • Joshua Phillips, 23, of Westridge Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing meat and fish to the value of £50.60 from Sainsburys with Samantha Phillips and Nicholas Phillips. Discharged conditionally for one year. Ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge.
  • Williams Tyler, 33, of Hillyfields, Nursling. Pleaded guilty to causing harassment to a constable. Discharged conditionally for two years. Ordered to pay £100 costs and £20 victim surcharge.
  • Lance Scholes, 58, of Chiltern Green, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing meat and coffee to the value of £71 from Sainsburys and £65.33 worth of cheese and meat from Tesco. Discharged conditionally for six months. Ordered to pay £30 costs and £20 victim surcharge.
  • Ian Flanagan, 35, Elderberry Close, Fair Oak. Pleaded guilty to attempting to steal three bottles and a 'Bag for Life' belonging to Sainsburys. Discharged conditionally for six months. Ordered to pay £30 costs and £20 victim surcharge.
  • John Gale, 55, of Drake Close, New Milton. Pleaded guilty to being in charge of a dog that worried sheep on land at Cliff Road, Milford on Sea. Fined £50. Ordered to pay £680 compensation and £30 victim surcharge.
  • Leonard Osman, 22, of Holmsley Close, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle without relevant license authorising to drive vehicle of that class. Also pleaded guilty to driving the vehicle without owner's consent and without relevant insurance. Fined £200. Ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge. Licence endorsed with six penalty points.
  • Karl Veazey, 33, Prince of Wales Road, Bournemouth. Pleaded guilty to driving whilst under influence of drugs in New Milton. Disqualified from driving for 12-months. Fined £120. Ordered to pay £25 costs and £30 victim surcharge.
  • Marcus Cunningham, 24, of Summerfield Road, West Wittering. Pleaded guilty to assaulting Daniel Cunningham in Hampshire and Jack Stacey. Also pleaded guilty to failing to answer bail. Community order made. Fined £20 and ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge.
  • Jonathan Dixon, 28, of Derby Road, Portsmouth. Pleaded guilty to stealing six jars of Nescafe Coffee belonging to Sklep 'Pod Orlem' in Southampton. Discharged conditionally for six months. Ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge.
  • Georgina Hole, 19, of Corbin Road, Pennington. Pleaded guilty to causing harassment to Sophie Chambers and damaging a motorcycle belonging to Philip Hardy. Community order made, which will include carrying out 40 hours of unpaid work. Ordered to pay £100 compensation and £85 victim surcharge.
  • Rachael Hollins, 42, of Langhorn Road, Swaythling. Pleaded guilty to driving whilst under the influence of alcohol. Disqualified from driving for 18 months. Fined £107 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge.
