THESE cases were all recently heard at Southampton Magistrates’ Court:

Changiz Khan, 36, of Hilldown Road, Southampton. Found guilty of failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle. Fined £1,641 with £164 victim surcharge and £400 costs. Disqualified from driving for six months.

Matthew James Lloyd, 36, of Regents Place, Gosport. Pleaded guilty to driving while using a hand-held mobile. Fined £165 with £30 victim surcharge and £390. Driving record endorsed with six points.

Luke Andrew Ward, 31, of no fixed address. Pleaded guilty to stealing 14 Airwick canisters valued at £34.86. Committed to prison for eight weeks and pay £34.86 compensation.

Mark Coffin, 31, of no fixed address. Found guilty of having a dangerously out of control dog, and stealing. Committed to prison for 20 weeks with £300 compensation and £85 costs.

Paul Amir Farhad, 41, of Market Street, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour. A restraining order was made, with a £100 fine, £100 costs and £30 victim surcharge.

Joanne Taylor-Horne, 45, of Ribble Close, Chandler’s Ford. Found guilty of drink driving. Fined £250 with £30 victim surcharge and £650 costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Sydney Andrew Cooper, 25, of Water Lane, Totton, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assault. Committed to prison for two months.

Luke John Henning, 36, of Southampton Street, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing meat products. Committed to prison for 28 days with £115 victim surcharge.

Paul Michael Simmonds, 46, of Maryfield, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing from the Apple Store and John Lewis at West Quay. Committed to prison for 56 days.

Martin Garraway, 30, of Main Road, Otterbourne. Pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. Discharged conditionally for two years and exclusion order made for two years. Ordered to pay £300 compensation with £85 costs.

Boris Kisame, 22, of High Road, Leytonstone, London. Pleaded guilty to driving without a licence. A community order was made including a curfew requirement. Ordered to pay £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.

Arthur George Lazarus, 18, of Common Road, Whiteparish, Salisbury. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Fined £500 with £50 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.

Daniel Graham Chant, 37, of Hood Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to failing to comply with notification requirements. Committed to prison for two months suspended for 18 months, with £115 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Ako Aram, 42, of Albion Towers, Golden Grove, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to possession of unmarked tobacco products and offering to sell them. Fined £200 with £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

David Taggart, 48, of Pennine Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to failing to provide a breath analysis. A community order was made with £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 36 months.

Samantha Jane Willis, 39, of Rossington Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assault. A community order was made. Fined £50 with £50 compensation.

Louise Anne Wright, 29, of Channels Farm Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to tax credit fraud. A community order was made with £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Andrew Stephen Bowers, 51, of Old Redbridge Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to cannabis possession. Fined £80 with £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Benjamin David Woodford, 28, of Denzil Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing food products. Fined £50 with £30 victim surcharge and £20 costs.
