AN ALCOHOL thief caught stealing 13 times in less than a month has been jailed.
Kieron Slack-Travers is now behind bars following his conviction at Southampton Magistrates’ Court.
As well as stealing bottles of gin and salted caramel vodka from stores such as Hotel Chocolate and John Lewis in Southampton, the 21-year-old also took hundreds of pounds worth of goods from TK Maxx and Holland & Barrett.
He first began offending on January 11 before being caught on February 1.
In total, Slack-Travers, of Beauchamp Drive, Newport, was ordered to pay £1,315.99 in compensation.
He was sentenced to 20 weeks’ imprisonment and ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge.
He pleaded guilty to all 13 charges of theft.
