A SOUTHAMPTON wellbeing coach launched an unprovoked attack at her brother’s 21st birthday party.

Harmony Tickner assaulted her friend and her stepfather before bottling a member of the public.

The 25-year-old had been drinking at the house party with friends and family but when she tried to get back into the gathering she accused a woman of calling her “a slag”.

Southampton Crown Court heard that Tickner then punched her in the face.

Matthew Lawson, prosecuting, said Tickner’s stepfather overheard her “ranting and raving” inside, shouting “I will kill you”.

Mr Lawson said her stepfather was then punched three times by Tickner, who works as a wellbeing coach for a herbal life brand.

When she was told to leave and picked up by her father, Tickner, who admitted causing actual bodily harm and two charges of assault, then smashed a bottle over a member of the public’s head when they arrived at his home.

Mr Lawson added: “The victim was with a group of friends down the road and the defendant started shouting out of the car, she didn’t know who the people were. The victim asked what was going on but was advised to walk away by Tickner’s father.

"But the defendant got out the car, picked up the bottle and in an completely unprovoked attack hit her over the head with the bottle.”

The court heard that Tickner had 14 previous convictions for 30 offences.

Mitigating, Nicola Talbot Hadley said Tickner had taken up boxing to control her anger and has been diagnosed with an emotionally unstable personality disorder.

Ms Talbot Hadley added that Tickner has stop drinking alcohol and was cutting down on use of cannabis.

Tickner was sentenced to 12 months’ jail, suspended for two years.
