SHE shopped her son to police fearing he would eventually kill someone.
Hillary Kellett said she made the toughest decision of her life in picking up the phone and revealing the truth to detectives about who had beaten Scott Speirs within an inch of his life.
The 47-year-old spoke yesterday as she watched her son Liam Edwards and his accomplice Adam Stebbing found guilty of attempted murder of the 34-year-old, who they had stamped on, kicked and punched in the grounds of a park.
Meanwhile, Scott faces an uncertain future and remains in a coma-like state, able to breathe but unable to move.
