JURORS were shown videos of a bouncer apparently assaulting customers at clubs and bars across Southampton.

Prosecutors claim that Andrew Lee made copies of several incidents, originally caught on CCTV cameras, before posting them on his own personal Internet profile.

One is labelled “elbow” and appears to show Lee elbowing a man in the face as he is restrained by another doorman.

Another is labelled “bitchslap”

and allegedly shows Lee slapping a woman across the face. A third was called “brawl” and appears to show Lee wresting a customer trying to get past him.

The final video was called “off his nut” and allegedly shows Lee push a customer up against a partition after they were talking in a doorway.

The footage was retrieved from the Internet by police.

The court also heard how Lee had a previous conviction for battery after he assaulted a man outside Bar Risa, in Southampton.

The conviction was upheld at an appeal.

Lee, 31, has denied responsibility for causing a fall that resulted in a student being permanently paralysed from the neck downwards.

He claimed John Jones had deliberately dropped to the floor in an attempt to escape from a full Nelson hold he had used in an attempt to throw him out of KAOS nightclub after he had seen him shake his girlfriend’s head against a wall and shove another girl.

Jurors have heard how the 22- year-old student at Southampton Solent University had gone to the club, in St Mary’s Road, with his g i r l f r i e n d , Aslihan Konan, dressed as punks for a fancy dress student night.

The prosecution claim that, after witnessing the couple having a row, Lee grabbed Mr Jones from behind using force which was “unnecessary and unreasonable”.

As they moved towards the exit on a crowded corridor, both men fell to the floor and Mr Jones suffered a broken neck.

Lee, a doorman for seven years, said: “I decided it was time for him [Mr Jones] to leave because he was obviously in drink, he had shoved a girl over and was unsteady on his feet.”

Lee said he saw Mr Jones shaking Ms Konan by her upper arms and her head was hitting the wall. “It reinforced my decision he had to leave,” he said.Lee told the city crown court that Mr Jones swore and raised his right arm at him before he restrained him.

He accepted it would have been safer to lead a person backwards rather than forwards, but he did not consider it.

When defence barrister Matthew Jewell asked him about the cause of the fall, he said: “I believe it was the deliberate action of the man being taken out by putting his left leg behind my left leg to hook it outwards in an attempt to break free.”

Mr Jewell asked him whether he had considered it was a tangle of legs and an accidental fall. He replied: “I have considered it but rejected it.”

He told jurors he had not known the extent of the student’s injury until the police told him later that week.

Lee, of Alcantara Crescent, South-ampton, denies causing grievous bodily harm and causing actual bodily harm.
