Warning over shed break-ins

RESIDENTS are being warned to be on their guard after a spate of shed break-ins.

Neighbourhood policing teams in the Nursling, Rownhams and Chilworth area are warning residents to tighten security after a number of break-ins.

Off-road motorbikes and scramblers – an all-terrain motorcycle – are particularly being targeted.

Police recommend residents consider fitting an alarm to their shed or garage. They should always mark the property and if possible take pictures of items, lock the building after use and ensure it is fitted with a strong lock. They should ensure windows are secure and have locks.

Nice one VP! I'm worried about the pickies, although not as much as the pikeys/pikies!!

The Pikeys wouldnt cause so many problems if they had a semi-perminant place to stop, a place they can respect and that is respected.
As for protecting your sheds, well the council made that clear, no barbed wire etc and legislation means you cant take action yourself, and the boys in blue wont turn up for a fortnight....
so why bother with warning us at all?
