How many more violent attacks, robberies and rapes are going to happen before something is done about the safety of these parks. CCTV and more patrols would be a start. There is obviously a problem here and has been going on for too long.

It is pretty obvious to me that these are the group of alcoholics who sit in Andrews park all day every day. They have obviously had a falling out amongst themselves, if they were not allowed to use the park as a doss hole in the first place this might not have happened.

Why would I need a construction proposal? I'm not trying to win a building contract.

Nice one 777! I agree with you, lots of drunks and trouble makers in the parks is bad for Southamptons' image if we are to attract more visitors to our great city.
A lot of city centres in the UK have zero tolerance with alcohol consumption,is that not the case here? Or is it generally an illegal offence in any public place, not sure?

Yep. Because 2 drunk guys who get in an argument are always going to first check if they're on camera.

Maybe if everybody had to log their precise movements at all times, and submit daily reports to the police, we'd be safer, too.

agree completely, parks should be for families and people to enjoy kicking a ball etc., The parks used to be the pride of Southampton now they are the shame. Most places in England now have zero tolerance to drinking in the streets now, even small market towns. It is time to bring it to our city.
