Crown court trial for man accused of mugging
A Winchester man has been committed to crown court accused of carrying out a mugging in a city alleyway.
Lewis Chalmers, 23, of Dennett House, Winnall, is alleged to have robbed Jack Parker in an alleyway near Fiona Close, Winnall on June 26, magistrates sitting in Winchester heard.
Chalmers is also accused of possessing an offensive weapon, a kitchen knife, on the same day.
He is due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on July 13.
