A PETROL chainsaw has been stolen from a Hampshire garage.

The burglary happened shortly after 7.10am on September 19, at a garage in Alverstone in Gosport .

Police are looking for a man with shaved fair hair, who was wearing a dark navy blue hooded top and plain grey cotton tracksuit bottoms, in connection with the incident.

Investigating officer PC Jerome Kilty said: “The most distinctive feature was two tattoos; one below the suspect’s left eye and in the shape of two tears, the other below his right eye and was described as a half-inch long symbol.”

Anyone with information should contact PC Kilty at Gosport police station by phoning 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
