POLICE are hoping to reunite a haul of jewellery found dumped in bushes in Southampton with its rightful owner.
Among the items recovered are a vintage ladies gold watch and a number of rings and commemorative coins.
The property was found near to Bitterne railway station wrapped in a black bag with the word “Dancebytes” on the front.
Officers have so far not been able to trace the rightful owners but they suspect the property could have been stolen during a burglary.
If you recognise the jewellery contact Helen Ward, police staff investigator, at Southampton Central Police Station on 023 8053 3231. Proof of ownership will be required.
