Home for test goats
GOATS used in decompression tests for the Ministry of Defence in Hampshire are to see out their retirement in a sanctuary.
The announcement was welcomed by Gosport MP Peter Viggers who urged the QinetiQ company, who carried out the tests at their Alverstoke laboratory, to find the goats a suitable place to live out their days.
He said: "An animal refuge named Buttercups at Maidstone in Kent is making appropriate arrangements."
