Boost in sport participation
A popular holiday sports scheme has seen a 50 per cent boost in participation.
Park Sport, organised by Eastleigh Borough Council, attracted more than 16,000 youngsters to sign up during the summer.
The scheme included around 10,000 free swims, along with a variety of other sporting sessions of football, tennis, fishing, dance, basketball, table tennis and skateboarding.
