DRIVERS facedtraffic chaos this morning after a car overturned on Hampshire's busiest motorway.
Two lanes of the eastbound M27 were blocked between junctions 5 and 7 near Southampton Airport after a Ford Fiesta flipped over at 7.25am.
One woman was taken to Southampton General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Emergency services were at the scene clearing the area investigating the cause of the accident.
Queues of traffic led to delays of over an hour and caused tailbacks throughout the area, with queues on the eastbound carriageway stretching back to Cadnam.
Traffic was also heavy on the westbound carriageway of the motorway going past the scene of the incident.
The road was fully reopened by 11am.
