DETECTIVES have released this e-fit image of a man they want to speak to after a woman was robbed walking her dog.

The victim, a 22-year-old woman, was walking her dog when an unknown man approached her and demanded her mobile phone.

The incident occurred at around 12.30am on Sunday, November 30 at an area of grass on Firs Drive which has a cut through to Woodside Way.

She told the offender that she didn’t have this on her and he then searched her pockets and stole cash.

Following the incident the offender ran off in the direction of Granada Road and the victim ran home.

The offender is described as a white man, aged in his late 20s, approximately 6ft tall and of a medium build with stubble on his face.

He was wearing dark clothing including a dark blue or grey hooded zip up top with the hood up.

Detective Constable Stephen Ashe from Eastleigh police station said: “I would like to hear from anyone who recognises the man in this e-fit image or to anyone who was in the area of Firs Drive, Granada Road and Woodside Way at the time of the incident and saw anything which may assist with our investigation.”
